Research Interests: Reinforcement learning, Robot Intelligence, Multi-agent
Systems
Shivam is interested in Reinforcement learning (RL)
and applied RL in making intelligent robots. His
current research focuses on continual and lifelong
learning in reinforcement learning to make machines
adaptable to changes in the environment. He usually
finds free time to do photography, traveling,
cooking, and running.
Yash Shukla

Yash is interested in reinforcement learning,
multiagent systems and their applications to
robotics. His current research focuses on
identifying reinforcement learning techniques that
bridge the gap between simulation and reality.
Outside of research, he loves to play board games,
travel and watch movies.

education using novel engineering. Her interests
include explainable RL and human in the loop

Brennan is interested in augmented reality and how
it can be used to facilitate human-robot
interactions. Outside of his research, Brennan
enjoys playing board games, reading, and spending
time with his dogs.
Si Liu

Research Interests: Deep Learning for robotics, Multimodal Learning
Si is interested in Multimodal Deep Learning and its
practical implementation in robotics. She is
currently exploring knowledge transfer among robots
equipped with multiple sensors. Outside of research,
she enjoys snowboarding, basketball, running, and
video games.
Julia Santaniello

Research Interests: Human-in-the-loop Learning, Brain-Computer Interfaces, Human-Computer Interaction
Julia is interested in human-in-the-loop
reinforcement learning and it’s application to
robotics. She is currently exploring how implicit
neural and biological feedback can enhance
artificial agent and robot learning. Outside of
research, she enjoys painting, sculpting and
volleyball.
